It’s been an eventful October and I’m surprised that I actually have time to sit down and put this post together. Lots of new gear this month not including the iPhone 5s I barely picked up in late September such as the new MacBook Air 2013, a police radar detector, Canon S110, and the iPad Air on November 1st (review coming soon!). We also went hiking twice in October thanks to the nice weather change in Southern California where it’s not as scorching hot as it was during the summertime! Continue reading

Geek Life March 14th to May 5th
It’s been crazy over the past few months and I worked on quite a handful of reviews. In doing that, I’ve rotated through some notebooks, smartphones and other gadgets going from an iPhone 5, to a Note 2, back to an iPhone 5 and now I am rockin’ an HTC One 64GB Developer Edition! I’ve also gone through some notebooks and tablets too such as going from an iPad Mini to a Microsoft Surface Pro, an Asus Transformer, Razer Edge Gaming Tablet to a Retina iPad, and now I am back to the iPad Mini once again. And on the notebook side, I went from my MacBook Air 11″ to a Dell XPS 12 and now I’m loving the MacBook Pro 13″ with Retina Display! I like to play around with the latest and greatest and I probably have an addiction where I will never be satisfied with what I currently have. At this very moment, my trio of the MacBook Pro 13″ Retina, iPad Mini LTE, and my new HTC One will do for now. I still plan to keep the iPhone 5 because as my backup and “in-between” phones to use while I look for something better! Again, lots of tech and lots of food within these two months! Continue reading
Geek Life – August 1st – August 12th

Galaxy S3 playing Metal Slug 2 while hooked up to the TV with PS3 controller! Ever see an iPhone do that? NO!
Quite a few activities within these two weeks leaving me little time to update this site. I know I say that every time but it’s true! I went out for a hike in Burbank, CA, went to the Dodgers game in a VIP suite for work, and of course had great food as always. I did get an HDMI cable for the Galaxy S3 to run emulators off of it and onto the plasma TV while having it paired to a PS3 controller! Continue reading
Geek Life – July 23rd to July 31st
I know I’m a bit late on my Geek Life postings as I have been busy with work and been out and about almost every single day. Even on weekends there’s always something to do especially in the city of Pasadena. Went to a wedding, then to the 626 Night Market, and then caught a show at the Pasadena Ice House featuring Jen Kober from Curb Your Enthusiasm all in one day! I hardly have any time for anime, games, and gadgets anymore!
Geek Life – The Geek in June 2012
I’ve been thinking about doing a weekly or bi-weekly photoblog on the exciting life of a geek (yes me) so I’m going to start with the entire month of June on how the world is seen through my eyes! I’ve had a huge overhaul in my gear over the past few months and most of it is because I’m on the road more than ever so portability is more of a priority over power. So I went from a 15″ MacBook Pro to an 11″ Air. Been pretty busy in June just barely coming back from Catalina Island and then a few weeks later headed off to San Luis Obispo. Even though it’s all within California, there was a lot of tech and gadgets to utilize, food to eat, and sites to see.
Another Food Round Up!
Has food replaced my love for technology? Hardly. It’s just that I’ve been eating so well lately and love sharing how beautiful food can be! Some of these photos were taken with the iPhone 4S camera and some were taken with the Sony NEX-C3. Can you tell the difference?
Even More Food!
Here’s some more foodporn for you to enjoy! The Eggs, spam, and broccoli cheese dish and Asian Fusion Pasta were home made by Karo. I also finally transitioned over from iPhoto to Aperture and it’s awesome especially when I have even more ways to manipulate and post process the photos that I take. Aperture may look intimidating at first but it is so easy to use and will make a photographer with the minimal experience such as myself look like a pro!
Weekend Food Round Up!
What’s life without enjoying good food? Had a very tasty weekend from both eating out and eating at home. Both Karo and I are total foodies, but Karo one ups me by being an awesome chef herself. As you can see from the pictures below, I’ve been eating really well especially living with a culinary artist!
