Geek Life – July 23rd to July 31st

I am such a geek, reading nothing but tech magazines at Barnes and Nobles!

I know I’m a bit late on my Geek Life postings as I have been busy with work and been out and about almost every single day. Even on weekends there’s always something to do especially in the city of Pasadena. Went to a wedding, then to the 626 Night Market, and then caught a show at the Pasadena Ice House featuring Jen Kober from Curb Your Enthusiasm all in one day! I hardly have any time for anime, games, and gadgets anymore!

 

Yoshinoya Beef Bowl is the best thing to eat around work. Not much around Irwindale, CA
Porridge and Chinese sausage for a hearty asian breakfast!
Had a nice Dinner in Technique, which is a Restaurant run by Cordon Bleu students
Needed my Ramen fix at Naga Naga. Spicy Beef Stew!
If you want some really good nachos, head to King Taco. It will do magical things to your bowel movements!
An iPad with the Logitech Ultrathin Keyboard has been my main setup recently. Been out on the road a lot.
Was at a relative’s wedding. Typical Chinese wedding food and it was delicious!
Got a $1 USB port adaptor for my Samsung Galaxy S3! So awesome that I can plug in just about any USB device such as gamepads and hard drives and it will work!
Hanging out at the 626 Night Market in Pasadena where it was packed full of people and Asian vendors to replicate the night markets in Asia! Sticky tofu was… STINKY!

 

Dim Sum at Elite in Monterey Park. The best Dim Sum you can get in the LA area!
Saw Jen Kober live at the Pasadena Icehouse. She’s super cool and performed a great show! Damn you skinny bitches!
Argentinean Parrillada at Mercado Buenos Aires in Van Nuys, CA

Finally some time to eat at home! Spicy Spaghetti!
A meal isn’t complete without dessert!
Stella Rossa in Santa Monica has some of the best Pizza I ever had! Totally recommend it if you’re looking for some gourmet pizza!

  1. I know very well, in which it was nothing. But this office facility can be highly reforms through the different new prospective. But some time I do not use it properly. Otherwise the main focus features can be much important through the help of good magazine and good noble price in front of the society members.
