The Klipsch S4i Headphones have been around for at least a couple of years and they still retail at around $99 which is why I never got around to buying them. These have been rated pretty high from people over at CNET, Gizmodo, and many users at Amazon. I haven’t had any first hand experience with these until today and now I see why these are held in such high regard.
The Image S4i headphones come with a metal case that contains a clip and different sized earbuds to fit your ear comfortably. Not the greatest case in the world but you wouldn’t buy these for that anyway so it doesn’t really matter. When I plugged these into my iPhone and played songs from rock, alternative, rap/hip hop and R&B, I was blown away especially how I’ve heard sounds that I’ve never been able to hear on the standard white iPod headphones or even the Apple In Ear Headphones. Songs with a good amount of bass sound great and voices are very clear on the variety of songs I’ve played.
Any type of music and genre you throw at this, you will be pleased with the outstanding quality the S4is have to offer and the earbuds are also very comfortable which is big if you listen to music a lot on your portable device. The headset includes a call/answer button along with music playback controls so you can use this for phone functions as well (even activate Siri for you iPhone 4S users). The biggest issue with the S4is are that they get tangled really easy but that’s the only problem I’ve experienced so far.
Do your ears a favor, skip the Diddy Beats and pick up a pair of these and you won’t be disappointed!
I have been using the same handfree and it has really got the most amazing sound quality that I have ever felt. I think that it is a good thing to listen to music in quality sound.
